Kimberley Discovery Cruises offer a unique cruise/fly package holiday over 6 days and 5 nights.  Including flights both to and from the Buccaneer Archipelago, this allows you maximum time to fully discover the timeless Kimberley Coast.

Day 1
Fly by light aircraft from Broome or Derby to a remote location in the Buccaneer Archipelago where you begin your adventure on the cruise of a lifetime!  Enjoy a welcome drink as you settle in to your comfortable 82ft vessel ‘Discovery One’ as we cruise up King Sound to the picturesque Myridi Bay.

Day 2
We make our way to the bright white sands of Silica Beach.  Relax on the pure silica sand or take a walk.  This is a photographers’ paradise.  Back onboard, take a close look at Cockatoo Island and it’s Iron Ore mine as we enjoy lunch on the deck.  This afternoon we visit Crocodile Creek where we take a refreshing swim in the stunning fresh water falls and rock pools.   Enjoy some sundowners back onboard and unwind in your surroundings as we anchor in beautiful Silvergull Creek for the night.

Day 3
After breakfast we go on an excursion to ‘Squatters Arms’ and meet a unique couple who have made their home in this timeless land. Indulge in a fresh water swim in their tank fed by a natural spring, then wander through their lush garden with spectacular views. This is one of the most enjoyable stops you will experience. After a BBQ lunch, you have time to shop for locally made jewellery.

Day 4
Watch the landscape change as we explore the 400 square km’s of Montgomery Reef!  This huge reef becomes exposed as the tides fall, creating a visual spectacle of waterfalls and sea life.  This is an exceptional site only few get to see.  We continue on to Raft Point, home to some ancient and well preserved aboriginal paintings.   This afternoon we walk to the caves, where you will take in the breathtaking views over Doubtful Bay and Steep Island.  Learn about the Wandjina people who once inhabited this land. Witness the vivid sunset as we anchor here for the night.

Day 5 
After breakfast we continue north and discover the beauty of Langgi.  Here you will view the striking colours and shapes of the rock formations that nature has carved over millions of years.  Enjoy a swim in the clear water before returning to Discovery One for a relaxing afternoon of cruising.  Watch the scenery change as we make our way to Talbot Bay.  You may be lucky enough to spot some magnificent Humpback Whales who come here to give birth and mate through the cooler months before returning to the Antarctic in summer.   

Day 6
Prepare yourselves for an exciting afternoon as we make our way to Talbot Bay, home of the Horizontal Waterfalls. You will experience a thrilling jet boat ride through the Falls and Cyclone Creek.  Marvel at the incredible marine life including the impressive Sleeper sharks that have made Discovery One their home.  We bid you farewell as you take off for another low-level scenic flight over the Buccaneer Archipelago back to Broome or Derby.
